Capture, Process, Stream, and Present - Motama Extends Product Portfolio for Digital Media Networking

Capture, Process, Stream, and Present - Motama Extends Product Portfolio for Digital Media Networking

Motama | 30 Aug 2008

With its Network-Integrated Multimedia Middleware (NMM), the company Motama offers a unique and powerful software technology for digital media networking, which is used by the world leaders in high-end products in the area of home entertainment, content creation and distribution, and building technologies.

Motama now greatly extends its product portfolio with following solutions.

Event Capture is an easy-to-use system for capturing the acoustic and visual information of a live event or performance.

The Video Wall system based on NMM is a software-driven system for using arrays of stacked displays as a large screen.

The Wireless Recaster software receives multicast streams in LANs and converts them to optimized unicast streams for clients in WLANs to overcome the limitations of today's wireless networks.

The NMM UpnP AV server extends the standard UPnP AV functionality by providing access to all devices and source of media within the network. It also enables handover of media presentation from one device to another - using existing UPnP AV renderers as clients.
