Fair Isaac Deploys Agilis' Orion Network Licensing Platform to Protect Their Global FICO® Score Product; Case Study Published

Agilis Software today announced that Fair Isaac Corporation has selected Agilis's Orion Network Licensing Platform to provide usage-based license management and tracking for their Global FICO® Score product, and initial deployments have been successfully completed in Japan and Mexico.
Banks, credit card companies, lending institutions and international credit bureaus in some 20 countries outside North America use Global FICO® Score to evaluate credit worthiness and risk. Fair Isaac is using Orion to securely monitor actual usage of several functions in Global FICO® Score, even on systems that have no Internet connection. Customers then use Orion's secure offline activation mechanism to upload the usage data every month from any web browser. The Orion server's auditing and reporting mechanisms are used by Fair Isaac to generate usage reports by customer.
Steve Delman, Software Development Senior Manager for Fair Isaac, said: "Orion met several challenges we faced with this licensing scenario: tracking several usage counters, high throughput, security for offline data logging with protection against state rollback, system clock tampering and automatic node locking, and support for Java, C/C++ and C#".
