New UK Payroll Package Released
New UK Payroll Package Released
Aquila Technology | 06 Aug 2008
Aquila Technology, the developer of accounting and payroll software for small to medium size businesses, announced the release of HRPay - Time & Attendance + Payroll for the UK market. HRPay allows small employers to have a payroll system which provides all the features of "big business" systems at a "small business" price.
HRPay is recognised by HMRC for Internet Filing and is currently being tested for HMRC Payroll Standard accreditation. Announcing the release of HRPay for the UK, Mike O'Grady, Technical Director of Aquila, said that the company had decided to release HRPay in advance of achieving Payroll Standard accreditation to allow users the opportunity to avail of a special 50% "pre-accreditation" discount.
With the deadline for mandatory filing by internet looming in 2011, O'Grady said that the company believes that HRPay is the ideal solution for small to medium size employers who need a cost-effective and easy-to-use payroll system which allows them to migrate from paper-based systems to a full-featured HMRC-compliant solution. Employers who implement HRPay in advance of the eFiling deadline are eligible for a tax rebate which, effectively, pays for the software.
Aquila Technology was established in 1990 and has been providing its accounting product - Artemis Accounts - since 1994. The product is now used in in a wide range of small to medium size enterprises in over 16 countries. A version of HRPay for the Irish tax system has available since 2003 and is the price-performance leader in the Irish payroll market. The companys slogan - Affordable Business Solutions - embodies its strategy of developing and supplying business applications that compete on price, performance, and ease of use.
