Overwatch Geospatial Systems, an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, will offer training classes for Feature Analyst®, LIDAR Analyst® and Urban Analyst™ in Sterling, Virginia, September 16-18, 2008. The annual Overwatch Geospatial Training Days provides extensive instruction for Overwatch Geospatial software users that will enhance their skill sets by increasing productivity and knowledge base. Half-day training classes will offer new insight to the latest advances in 2D and 3D feature extraction.
Classes will include beginner and advanced level instruction for Feature Analyst and LIDAR Analyst workflows that support geospatial data production. Urban Analyst classes will also provide basic and advanced instruction, demonstrating the use of 3D data for terrain as well as cultural feature data for visualization and the collection of GEOINT.
