Owner of Alter Realty, Inc. Gerald Alter Enhances His Website with a Customized IDX Solution

IDX, Inc. is pleased to welcome the addition of broker Gerald Alder, owner of Alter Realty, Inc., to the growing list of real estate professionals choosing to incorporate customized IDX search tools into the MLS search function of their website. The Deerfield Beach, Fla. company’s clients are now able to search thousands of property listings on the Fort Lauderdale MLS (Ft Lauderdale) using search options customized by Alter to make locating a property simpler for the client.

Along with the features displayed in the site, the overall look of the site is completely customizable through an administrative log in section. Customized CSS, and global, page, and category wrappers allow Alter to incorporate the IDX Broker software into his already existing website so that the search and results pages appear to be seamlessly integrated into his site. Other tools available to the administrator include traffic reports detailing number of daily site visits along with which pages on the site are being viewed most frequently.

Using IDX Broker, clients are able to select from five different search types including, basic, advanced, map, address, and listing number. Within these searches, more detailed criteria can be used to narrow down the results including scenery, home style, inclusions, flooring type, lot size, range of year built, parking options, and recreation included. Clients also have the ability to save their search criteria and sign up for automatic email updates when properties matching their specifications become available on the Ft Lauderdale MLS.
