Social Media News Discussion Added to Social Media Magazine Website
Social Media Magazine | 31 Aug 2008

The new social media discussion section of SocialMediaMagazine.com (http://www.socialmediamagazine.com/social-tags/) allows for user submitted content, tagging, and comments. The new section will feature news and commentary related to social media tools and industry advances. The new section allows participants to suggest story links or write articles and reviews about social media tools. The goal is to promote the upcoming tools or latest news that will help companies and organizations to enhance the own social media initiatives.
In addition to the social news discussions, additional how-to and DIY sections, the site will allow for coverage and collaboration of other popular social media discoveries. The site will serve social media professionals and visitors seeking to learn more about how to leverage social networking, bookmarking, blogs, podcasts, and wiki solutions. A specific focus will be placed on the open source software and hosted platforms that enable organizations to quickly and easily begin their social technology projects.
The SocialMediaMagazine.com site will expand to include additional sections by new contributors that are reviewing and evaluating social media resources. The site has also established several review categories, forums, and wikis to foster information and discussion about available social tools and strategies.
Social media professionals, solution developers, and industry coverage professionals are invited to participate as hosts and moderators for each social media channel. Interested administrative participants and contributors may contact JD Douglas (publisher@socialmediamagazine.com) to be added to the site moderator team.
