TPG/WMS-Lite: Warehouse Management System for Small to Medium Warehouses
TPG/WMS-Lite: Warehouse Management System for Small to Medium Warehouses
The Paxton Group, LLC | 22 Aug 2008
The Paxton Group announced the release and immediate availability of their SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) warehouse management system TPG/WMS-Lite version 5 today.
Over 80% of warehouse businesses manage less than 250,000 sqft of warehouse space, but finding a WMS solution that cost-effectively meets the needs of this vast market has been lacking, until now.
President of The Paxton Group, Michael O’Brien, said “We’re proud to be able to offer the features and functionality needed by small-to-medium sized warehouse operators at a cost-effective price. Now they can compete directly against large operators who up until now have had distinct advantages because of their WMS systems”.
TPG/WMS-Lite is accessed securely over the internet. It does not require any hardware or software to be installed or maintained at customer facilities which eliminates deployment complexity, simplifies operations, and makes application maintenance costs a thing of the past.
“Big Tier 1 and Tier 2 WMS solution providers charge you millions of dollars in software licensing, support and maintenance fees, not to mention the cost of all those consultants you'll have to pay to implement the system.” said David Feuerstein, EVP of Customer Experience.
TPG/WMS-Lite pricing includes software, upgrades, and support in one simple monthly fee. Setup happens in days not months. There are no hidden charges for reports, retail web inventory integration, web access for your vendors or clients, special services, SKUs, or inventory transactions like some systems. With TPG/WMS-Lite there is just one simple monthly fee, period.
“Other systems take weeks or even months to setup because all vendor, SKU, pricing, and handling information has to be in place prior to use. TPG/WMS-Lite learns as you use it so your operation can start using the system immediately. In fact, most warehouse operators realize a ROI in less than 60 days”, said Feuerstein.
TPG/WMS-Lite seamlessly integrates with The Paxton Group’s order management system, TPG/OMS, for operators who want complete transaction control and transparency across the entire delivery chain, from vendor to warehouse to consignee, no matter what type or how many carriers are involved in delivery.
The Paxton Group provides world-class Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for the Transportation & Warehouse industries as well as premier networking and security solutions to Financial Service and Healthcare industries.
