Webmaster Jam Session Hits Atlanta
Webmaster Jam Session Hits Atlanta
CoffeeCup Software | 20 Jul 2008
CoffeeCup Software, a Fortune 500 Website software development company, has announced that it will host the third annual Webmaster Jam Session Oct. 3rd and 4th at the Loudermilk Center in downtown Atlanta.
Webmasters of all levels of expertise can hone their skills in the event’s hip, casual and informative environment. The event features programs and workshops led by top experts in the field of Web design.
This year’s list of speakers includes Yahoo! Web developer Chris Heilmann, Blue Flavor Web designer Jeff Croft, developer Chris Pederick, Apple senior Web applications engineer James Craig and many more. These experts will discuss a number of important topics in the Web design community, including search engine marketing and optimization, brand management, marketing techniques, the Web planning process and other pertinent subjects.
But the emphasis on maintaining a relaxed, fun atmosphere ensures that these discussions will be far from traditional. In one special session, the Website Smackdown, designers, programmers and marketing experts gather onstage and critique designs. When opinions clash, the fun begins. The Jam Session also gives attendees the opportunity to interact with the presenters one-on-one after the formal discussions and sessions to answer questions, give advice or just chat about Web design.
“There are an alarming number of ugly Websites out there,” Vice President of Product Development Scott Swedorski joked. “One of our biggest goals for the Jam Session is to help people create more attractive — and more successful — sites.”
Regular admission is $199 and includes a catered lunch and refreshments for both days. A Platinum Pass, which grants access to special sessions, is available for $399. For more information and to register for this event, visit http://2008.webjamsession.com
